My name is Karen, and I’m a lazy vegan. These days — especially in Toronto — we’re spoiled with an abundance of meat-free, dairy-free choices at the grocery store. So I’m sharing easy, fun ways you can veganize your favourite comfort foods.

Before I made the shift to a plant-based lifestyle, I never imagined I could give up cheese, ice cream or sushi! And that I’d be blogging about it.

I realized you don’t have to devote a lot of time or effort to shopping and cooking vegan — I often use one pot and spend less than an hour in the kitchen. No need for expensive or mysterious ingredients either.

I learned that the world of plant-based eating is amazingly diverse and nourishing, indulgent and satisfying. Whether you’re vegan or not, I hope these ideas will inspire you to enjoy food as much as I do.
